The service was super friendly, the wine very tasty and the food absolutely fantastic. I can only recommend it!

Ambitious and reliable cuisine. Wines from our own winery at good prices in the bar in the estate. The service is very friendly and accommodating. For the 5th star, two requests to the kitchen: Please hand some bread with the beef tartare and a fish dish and another vegetarian main course or a vegetarian variation on the Just Beef dishes for the 'Just Beef Days'. We would be happy to come back.

A nice tavern without the philistine ambience that is otherwise common in the Rheingau. The kitchen is relatively good, but not first class. The portions are homeopathically small and the prices called for them - in relation to dose and quality - are clearly too ambitious. I recently came across a "suboptimal" qualified and sloppy employee who ruined my desire for "the Trenz" once and for all. I've moved my dinner with business friends to a better place.

On August 22nd, 2020 I was lucky enough to be able to celebrate my 60th birthday in this beautiful location. After the weather gods were kind to us and we were allowed to sit in the wonderful Trenz garden, it is now time to stop our praise here. And to put it in a nutshell, it was just perfect! Even the preparations with the restaurant manager, Mr Klufmüller, couldn't be topped, let alone the evening itself. Everything went like clockwork, the quality of the wines and of course the food, as well as the very lovingly set table were sensational and I ask myself afterwards how you can deliver so much quality at such a fair price. It seems to be possible. That is why we will continue to say in the future - if there is something to celebrate! Even in the high-priced Rheingau you can hardly find a location that plays at such a high level.

Nice location, for the rear Rheingau upscale but justified prices, top service, starter as well as the main course very tasty and to the point on the plate. PROS: Great wines and good selection--they even have a few reds, really good food, service is good, they take overseas credit cards CONS: Expensive REVIEW: Trenz was at the Wiesbaden wine fest and I really enjoyed their Blanc de Noirs and decided to bring some friends to join us for a wine tasting and dinner. The tasting was a bit rushed because we got there right when dinner service started and the bar was backed up quickly. The staff did a decent job tending to us, but it was hard to get pours at times. As soon as we started the tasting we made a reservation for 1700 because it was apparent they were going to be busy. We were seated right after the wine tasting and table service was quick. We enjoyed several bottles of wine, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this place, just be prepared to spend some money--we left with several boxes of wine :)

Today we did a lunch break in the restaurant with a group of six and it was just fantastic! Very friendly & attentive staff, very high quality & great combined food selection and really delicious wines! Great value for money for the quality - e.g. Flammkuchen about 8 €, pumpkin risotto or Angus Beef Burger for 15 € each. I recommend a reservation at the weekend, the restaurant was well filled. The wines have tasted so good that we bought directly a few bottles from the winery (for example Riesling 2017 from 6,40 € / l). In addition, one can look at the wine cellar. Thank you winery Trenz, we'll be back soon & very happy!

For us the best winery in the Rheingau with excellent and carefully thought-out cuisine! Always a wonderful experience ....! The restaurant management and the service staff form a wonderful team and live service that we have seldom experienced in Germany!

A very fancy place. I came here accidentally on my way through while hiking and was a bit nervous about being too rough and tumble for the place, but the staff was very nice and made me feel very welcome.

Friendly welcome, attentive but unobtrusive service, delicious food and good wines. The roast beef came super tender with a perfect cooking point, the kohlrabi and potato pieces perfectly in creamy sauce and the chocolate tart was just hmmm ... We will definitely be back 😍
